Long‑term waterproofing involves applying a waterproofing agent containing rosin derivatives or carboxylated polymer emulsions to the carton. This substance is compatible with wax and adheres firmly to the carton surface, remaining effective for a long time, thus providing long‑lasting waterproofing.
During the production and processing of cartons, applying moisture‑proof oil or a water‑repellent agent to the carton can improve its strength and achieve better moisture protection. Of course, this will increase the cost significantly.
If the cartons are not treated with moisture‑proof oil or water‑repellent agent during production, attention must be paid to the storage environment. Storing them in relatively dry and well‑ventilated areas reduces the risk of moisture absorption. A special reminder: cartons should not be placed directly on the floor; they should be elevated using pallets or similar supports.
When ordering cartons, carefully calculate the required quantity. If you order too many and store them for too long, they become more susceptible to moisture. It is advisable to plan for about one month's supply.
