Containers are modern transport tools, but they have not been in full use for long, and their utilization rate is not high. If the cartons themselves are not fully loaded, the actual utilization rate of the container will be even lower. This is the current situation in transportation.
To improve container loading capacity, technical breakthroughs should be made in several areas to address the low utilization rate of containers.
Establish a new approach to carton design tailored to container shipping. When a specific type of container is selected as the transport vehicle, the carrying space is already fixed. When the packaging method for a particular type of goods is determined, the volume of the packaging cartons for those goods should also be roughly established.
So how can we achieve the maximum container loading capacity? The container needs to hold as many cartons as possible. To achieve this goal, specially designed and manufactured measuring tools can create a relatively enclosed condition for measuring the goods. The goods are fully enclosed and subjected to a certain degree of compression, allowing the true volume of the consignment to be measured.
By changing the stacking method of the goods, several true volumes of different shapes can be measured. By adding the corresponding packaging thickness to each, different carton volumes can be obtained. By calculating the container loading for each of these carton sizes, different loading quantities can be derived. Therefore, it is not difficult to select the carton shape that is most suitable for container loading. At the same time, adjustments can be made as needed to improve the carton shape.
In most cases, the carton shape can be determined. For the vast majority of goods, there are multiple carton shape options, and one can always be found that best suits container loading. At the same time, adjustments can be made as needed to refine the packaging carton shape.
